Within the next 12 to 18 months, the Indian information technology giant Tech Mahindra has plans to design and deploy a wide variety of blockchain solutions on Amazon Managed Blockchain.

Tech Mahindra, a subsidiary of the Indian conglomerate Mahindra Group, will pursue initiatives for its customers in the banking and financial services, retail, manufacturing, and oil and gas industries while also working on blockchain solutions for the aviation, telecom, and healthcare industries.
Their major objective is to cause disruptions in the supply chains of the aforementioned businesses in order to “enable business continuity,” even in the midst of a worldwide pandemic.
The company intends to utilise blockchain technology in order to provide assistance to the aviation industry in the process of tracking and tracing “kits” as they are delivered. In addition to this, they will develop solutions that assist hardware vendors working in the telecom industry in gaining improved visibility in the supply chain.
Tech Mahindra’s blockchain technology will allow the healthcare industry to track and identify counterfeit medical supplies such as personal protective equipment kits, face masks, and sanitizers. This functionality will be available to the industry in the near future.
Tech Mahindra has just recently introduced a blockchain-based digital contracts and rights platform that is built on top of IBM’s blockchain. This platform is intended to assist artists working in the media and entertainment industry in keeping track of their revenue, royalty payments, and digital rights.
According to a recent report by Cointelegraph, the multinational technology company also launched, in conjunction with the government of the Indian state of Telangana, an accelerator programme with the intention of fostering blockchain innovation within the state.
